February 27, 2010 .................... Commemoration of the Battle at Moore's Creek Bridge
Re-enactments, musket & cannon firings, music, and more are all a part of this important
historic weekend just 25 miles from Wilmington.  Visit Moore's Creek National Battlefield for
event updates and directions to the park.

July, 2010 ............................................................... Grandfather Mountain Highland Games
The largest gathering of Scottish clans in North America is an ideal summer destination for
members and friends of the SSOW.  You can learn more by visiting Grandfather Mountain

The SSOW and the First Presbyterian Church of Wilmington invite you to attend this service in
remembrance of the rich and devout heritage of the Scottish Reformation.  For other details

November, 2010 ................................................. St. Andrews Day & SSOW Annual Meeting
We celebrate the patron saint of Scotland with a home-cooked, potluck supper and our annual
member's meeting.  Members are encouraged to attend this gathering at the beach.  For more
