This SSOW formal affair celebrates the life and lore of Scotland's bard, Robert Burns.  
Dinner, bagpiping, haggis, scotch tasting, silent auction, and plenty of toasts - an

We celebrate the patron saint of Scotland with a casual potluck supper and plenty of
music and fun.  You can also meet the officers and board members of the SSOW.  

January 2012 .............................................................. Robert Burns Supper & Celebration
Planning is already underway for our next tribute to the noble bard of Scotland.  
Expect great food, bagpiping, a scotch tasting, haggis, silent auction and more.  For

February 2012 .......................... Commemoration of the Battle at Moore's Creek Bridge
Re-enactments, musket & cannon firings, music, and more are all a part of this
important historic weekend just 25 miles from Wilmington.  Visit Moore's Creek
National Battlefield for event updates and directions to the park.

May 2012 ............................................................................................................... SSOW Ceilidh
Music, merriment and Scottish culture collide at this exciting party for both SSOW
members and the general public.  We'll post details soon.
